Crocheted Daisy Afghan

Though we’re still snowed under in my part of the world, spring is here. To remind myself that, yes, the snow will depart soon, I created this vibrant daisy motif Afghan. The pattern was somewhat inspired by Spanish tile work, and is made up of octagon and square pieces that are then crocheted together.

The sample was worked in Red Heart Soft Touch – a substitute yarn is shown below. You’ll require only a 5 mm hook and some time. To be able to crochet this piece, you’ll need to know how to make basic crochet stitches, and the instructions are based on US crochet terms.
