Rupert The Owl Amigurumi Pattern 2018 Update

Round and soft, Rupert likes sitting near the top of the Christmas tree, watching the festivities.

This 2018 updated version of the pattern has new step-by-step photography, cleaner layout for the written instructions and easier to follow charts. The colour changes in the pattern are for the orange/purple version, but as with all granny square designs the possibilities are endless! One owl takes about 1.5-2hrs to complete, perfect for last minute gifts.    

You’ll need to know how to:  make a Magic Ring,  work in a round,  single crochet,  increase/decrease,  double crochet,  chain stitch,  slip stitch

You will need:  A selection of 4-ply or thinner yarns/2.5mm hook for a small owl 8cm/3inch tall, or a selection of DK yarns/3.5mm hook for the larger owl 10cm/4inch tall, Small square of fabric or net to use as lining, Darning needle,  Toy Stuffing,  Scissors
