It is big and thick! Good for bulky projects. Knits up quickly.

The wool is lovely to work with, it makes different stitches stand out making the project much more interesting, particularly cables.
It gives a rich expensive look and more importantly is soft and gentle next to the skin.

I’m actually heart broken about this yarn. I was absolutely loving it as it knits AND crochets up beautifully. However, having made several different items with this yarn including a large knitted throw for my husband as a birthday gift, I was extremely disappointed that the yarn wears so poorly and does so so quickly. This beautiful blanket that I made for my husband took me weeks to knit ( two stranded with Lion Brand Homespun as the other yarn) looked like awful…it pilled up and looked old and worn out within a couple of months of light use. I followed the label’s instructions on both yarns to clean and care for it and it looks like it was put it a rock tumbler. I am crushed. All of the items I made with Wool Ease Thick and Quick wore poorly, from slippers to a couple of Boho Blanket shawls to a couple of blankets and throws. I gave those pieces as gifts and I am horribly embarrassed that the items wore out so quickly. This yarn is not inexpensive, especially when you get to using large amounts of it to make a blanket for example, however, the old adage is true: you get what you pay for. Quality costs.
