A really splendid superwash wool
(wool, wool and more wool)
You can’t beat a really splendid wool to keep you warm on crisp autumn walks in the countryside. We’ve tested and retested Ramble to find the perfect blend of twist and weight to create a hard-wearing and soft touch fiber with great stitch definition, in a rainbow of classic, weather-beaten colors. Over to you for final testing – blustery days, wellies and cup of tea at the ready.

Angie Menary –
So far I’m loving knitting with this yarn. I’m having to keep unpicking, but that’s the tricky pattern, not the yarn! It’s lovely as it runs though my fingers and my swatch pieces feel gorgeous so I’m confident this will be a lovely jumper once I get it made.
Liz Dahl –
It’s a very soft wool in lovely shades, it gives even stitching and goes a long way.

It’s superwash wool and I much prefer doing colour work with woolly wool. It was nice and soft but a bit shiny. It was difficult to keep the tension perfect, the slightest irregularity seemed to show, and I’m an experienced knitter. I think in retrospect I should not have used it for my project, it’s probably not fair to blame the yarn.

Beautifully soft, knits up well with good stitch definition. Doesn’t feel scratchy.

The wool is a lovely colour and is knitting up well… but I can’t comment on how it washes yet.
