This cotton aran was ordered by mistake. I wanted Aran acrylic. IO found the website hard to navigate until I worked it out.
I am still waiting for paintbox to respond to my request to return the wool and it was several weeks ago.
The yarn I ordered and used before Aran acrylic is good and a great price but it usually takes at least 4 days to come and the colours run out so you have to order enough to make sure you don’t run out for the project you are on and sometimes waiting 4 or more days when I hadn’t ordered quite enough and they did have more felt a bit too long.

I like this yarn, it’s really great for amigurumi projects which I’ve been obsessed with recently, making things for babies. Only gripe is that it does split a bit when working with it. I had to sort of shift the way I grab the thread with my crochet hook to prevent it. Otherwise it’s great, love the rich color and cotton content, it’s very soft, washable, and baby safe!

I first brought a ball of Paintbox Aran and cotton mixed yarn from a charity shop, I was so pleased with it I then had to locate it online. It’s slightly thicker than cotton and crochets great. I’m currently working on a weekend bag and my daughter has made skirts and tops with it as it comes in so many lovely colours. If you want a soft yarn that’s slightly thicker than cotton I would recommend using this yarn.
