Malabrigo Rios is a favorite with knitters around the world, and for good reason! It knits to a standard worsted weight of Malabrigo yarn, and is super soft and washable. Rios has great stitch definition and an array of colorways to choose from. Malabrigo yarn is hand-dyed, meaning that each beautiful skein is unique. As a result, there may be variations in color between skeins of the same shade. Please note that we do not stock Malabrigo yarn in batches, but you can always return your order if you do not like the shades you receive.

The only problem I’ve run into so far is the s twist splitting slightly when looking at any puff stitches that were made in previous rows, when using a larger crochet hook. But I assume that’s just purely the nature of any s-twist yarn—although it’s the first time I’ve ever experienced it with yarn.

I bought Malabrigo Rios for a cardigan for my son. The pattern is called Lee Cardigan. I bought the color Gris which has multiple grey colors. Soft & knits up quickly. I like that it’s washable but keep in mind it does stretch so was when gauging.

Fast becoming my favourite wool and colours. May have to build a bigger stash. Liquidambar is quite varied, so Id recommend purchasing as much as needed per project, rather than one skein at a time.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. The product I received (Malabrigo Worsted, color 020) does not match the color shown on the website at all. The yarn was advertised as a cypress green, but what I received is a charcoal black color, with no visible undertones or variation.
I understand that some color variation between screens and real products is normal, but in this case the difference is extreme.
In addition, the skeins do not have a dye lot indicated, and the color is so far from the expected shade that it appears to be a defective dye batch.
I received the order and contacted LoveCrafts customer service immediately, and it has now been 16 days without any response, despite several follow-up emails.
Unfortunately, the lack of communication has made the situation even more frustrating. I hope this issue can still be resolved, but based on my experience, both product accuracy and customer service fell below expectations.
