This beautiful premium acrylic roving yarn is available in ten variegated colorways. Harmonize your wardrobe with the upcoming season, using Cottagespun to create the perfect transitional garments for moving into autumn. King Cole is proud to support the Loose Ends project, for every ball of King Cole Cottagespun Chunky you buy, a donation will be made to the Loose Ends Project.
The Loose Ends project aims to ease grief, create community, and inspire generosity by matching volunteer handwork finishers with projects people have left undone due to death or disability. When a crafter dies mid-project or is no longer able to do handwork due to disability or illness, they will likely have unfinished items they were making for friends and family. These tangible, handmade expressions of love could get lost, donated away or thrown out.

It works well for knitting comfort support chickens.

I use this yarn specifically to make the emotional support chickens. The colors are beautiful and it works up very well. My only complaint is that I have to rewind it into a cake after I get it because the loops are so big as you knitting big loops of it pull off and I have your stop my work to untangle these loops that come off

It was hard to get used to, and you have to be really careful to not let it split, since it’s a not-twisted yarn, whatever that’s called. The colors are gorgeous, and it’s nice and squishy – you’d never think it’s acrylic. I hope it doesn’t pill, since it’s a little fuzzy. I’m using a size 7 needle, for a dense fabric for my emotional support chickens. Next, I’m holding it with sock yarn for a Skeino Operetta shawl. Hope it works! The kid-silk in the original kit has just about disintegrated.

Lovely yarn and a joy to knit with! Made my 4 year old granddaughter a cute “Elf” hat. Held this yarn with a strand of Katia Gatsby Lux for sparkle!

This wool is very easy to knit with. The colour range is very good.

Have to be very careful casting on as it easily pulls apart. Splits a lot and not easy to knit with. Not looking forward to trying to sew it up
