I just rated it and already gave my review

I’ve used King Cole Riot DK yarn for many years. Some colours I like more than others, and the blues and purples are my favourites.
Be aware, the yarn isn’t a consistent thickness, there are stretches of very thin yarn, and some that are quite a lot thicker. This is normal for this particular yarn.
I often use a much bigger hook than recommended to produce a light, drapey fabric ideal for shawls and wraps. a 4.5mm hook mkaes a fabric suitable for a sweater or cardigan.
Lovely yarn which I will buy as long as they keep producing it 🙂

Lovely to knit with, and feels very natural. The colour changes make knitting with this yarn fun.

The yarn is labelled as double knit but is actually variable on thickness, from dk to very thin, so is not suitable for all dk projects. It feels soft, and the colours are nice, but it was spoilt by a join in the yarn which destroyed the colour flow and meant that I had to remove a large length to get it on track again. The removed length of yarn will be used for another project, but it would have been better to not have to do that. Overall I was disappointed with my experience of this ball of yarn (first time I’ve had to say that on here).

Pros-lovely colour blends.
Have crocheted 3 different coloured throws with good results.
Cons- not the easiest to crochet, as it knots and tangles easily and the yarn is inconsistent in thickness.
