In the decades that I have been crocheting and knitting, Malabrigo is my favourite of all yarns. The quality and subtle way it is dyed make it unique and a dream to crochet with because the colours change subtly as you work. The quality of this 100% wool from Peru is also exceptional and it seems to have virtually no pilling. It produces a dense, clearly defined stitch which makes even the simplest of stitches look beautiful. The range of colours is also wonderful, although some may be out of stock. I used to buy it in store from a local shop which closed some time ago, therefore it was a joy to realise that LoveCrafts sell Malabrigo online in a range of colours and weights from chunky to DK. Thanks to LoveCrafts for reuniting me with my favourite Malabrigo yarns.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. The product I received (Malabrigo Worsted, color 020) does not match the color shown on the website at all. The yarn was advertised as a cypress green, but what I received is a charcoal black color, with no visible undertones or variation.
I understand that some color variation between screens and real products is normal, but in this case the difference is extreme.
In addition, the skeins do not have a dye lot indicated, and the color is so far from the expected shade that it appears to be a defective dye batch.
I received the order and contacted LoveCrafts customer service immediately, and it has now been 16 days without any response, despite several follow-up emails.
Unfortunately, the lack of communication has made the situation even more frustrating. I hope this issue can still be resolved, but based on my experience, both product accuracy and customer service fell below expectations.
