It is for my son and laws Christmas present so as yet not been worn or washed so cannot comment further.

Soft with a lovely colour, however the first ball contained 2 knots tying cut ends. It proved impossible to splice the ends together. So far the 2 following balls haven’t had any though so this may be an outlier.
