Bringing Special back to Yorkshire has been our dream for quite a while now. And now it’s come true. Spa Mill, Stylecraft HQ, has been home to spinning for well over a hundred years. Now, with a seven-figure investment in state-of-the-art technology, we are starting a new era and bringing Special DK home. And that’s just the beginning. As stocks run out of other shades, they will also be spun in Yorkshire, so eventually all 120 shades will made in in our mill.

Stylecraft yarns have been made in Turkey, where occasionally you find poor quality spinning, particularly in the white thread. So it’s nice to see them bringing it back to the UK where they’ve introduced some Yorkshire based colours and the last white and cream I ordered came from there and it was much better quality.
